In the 33rd minute Melchor Mikelats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Angélica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club FAAM were winning 0-5.

With an all-out effort, Club FAAM 's Ceferino Sal threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Severo Ticho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 55 minutes into the match, Severo Ticho notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Angélica's Ceferino Sal. Ceferino Sal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ceferino Sal made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Teofilo Kaiet sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Mercurio got free with Ceferino Sal in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Severo Ticho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Sal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Honorio Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Club FAAM 's Aureliano Luar was substituted for Honorio Mercurio. If Joaquin Mederi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Club FAAM 's Aureliano Luar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Fermin Iban's late challenge caught a Angélica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angélica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Luar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Club FAAM 's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
