Tristán Suárez FC's Fabricio Rivero managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristobal Txema in the 4 minute of the game. Jonas Millano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Joey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tristán Suárez FC's Alvin Kilström got a free kick in the 9th minute. Bernardo Urbes took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised German Gonsalve. German Gonsalve dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 16th minute, Honorio Mercurio made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Joey. Tristán Suárez FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Fabricio Rivero kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute Bernardo Urbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Joey came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Club FAAM 's Honorio Mercurio. But to his dismay, Honorio Mercurio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Tristán Suárez FC booed when Club FAAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when Teofilo Kaiet elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fernando Joey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Ticho's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club FAAM 's goalkeeper German Gonsalve, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardo Urbes scored 3-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of German Gonsalve, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Mercurio made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tomás Boniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Luisito Federigo fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club FAAM 's protests and gave Luisito Federigo a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 minutes of play, Tristán Suárez FC's M. Dedy 董卓 made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Gonsalve was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Mercurio in the 60th minute of the match. With a little luck, Club FAAM 's German Gonsalve got control of the ball when Bernardo Urbes tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Tristán Suárez FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alvin Kilström hit a great ball. Club FAAM 's Aureliano Luar was substituted for Honorio Mercurio. Aureliano Luar might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Joey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Luar ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Otsando in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
