After 11 minutes, Ramūnas Žvingilas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patagonia FC and the Argentina players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Patagonia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramūnas Žvingilas to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Rodolfo Belo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Patagonia FC defense, Santo Valente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Berto. The Patagonia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Berto should have stopped the shot. Amador Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Amador Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Botello was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Patagonia FC's Jorge Berto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Liberto in the 28th minute of play. Jorge Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Liberto in the 42nd minute of play. Jorge Berto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorge Honrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Berto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Argentina's Roque Maurino got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Jorge Berto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleuterio Liberto in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Danilo Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Berto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jorge Berto made a huge save. Jorge Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Romero in the 81st minute of play. Jorge Berto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleuterio Liberto in the 83rd minute. Amador Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Botello having to interfere.
