A collision led to CCONAWI5FUTBOLCLUB getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Ortzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41stth minute of the game Mikael Wiman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CCONAWI5FUTBOLCLUB's Guaberto Ortzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aureliano Ovando scored 1-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezequiel Fidencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikael Wiman was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Ovando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Fidencio was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. CCONAWI5FUTBOLCLUB's Guaberto Ortzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Mejias in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Mejias in the 85th minute of play forced CCONAWI5FUTBOLCLUB's goalkeeper Guaberto Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute River Plate were awarded a corner. Alfonso Mejias went to the cornerflag to take it. Guaberto Ortzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mikael Wiman went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Caicedo Linda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. River Plate's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because CCONAWI5FUTBOLCLUB had won, even though River Plate had held more of the ball.
