With a little luck, Francescoli F.C.'s Maximino Santxol got control of the ball when Rogelio Micael tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Francescoli F.C.'s zone, Blas Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Santxol came out of the goal and Blas Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Leo Gilesindo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Francescoli F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Flemon the free kick. After 24 played minutes Francescoli F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leo Gilesindo. When Blas Estevez got free in front of the goal in the 25th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Maximino Santxol was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jonatan Ourente took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximino Santxol. Maximino Santxol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 30th minute, Jonatan Ourente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rogelio Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Juan Dimo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Francescoli F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximino Santxol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Micael. A collision led to Francescoli F.C. getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Felipe Criston hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Francescoli F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Ourente came free, but Maximino Santxol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Santxol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Blas Estevez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Eliseo Rius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Flemon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Francescoli F.C. the free kick. Eliseo Rius hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas Estevez was the one to do the kick off. Francescoli F.C.'s Maximino Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Micael in the 52nd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Patricio Gaitan put in a rough tackle. Maximino Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Micael in the 57th minute of the match. Maximino Santxol came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by El Flemon's Rogelio Micael. But to his dismay, Rogelio Micael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 60th minute Rogelio Micael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rogelio Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Estevez in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Santxol saved Francescoli F.C. from getting behind. Leo Gilesindo was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 72 played minutes Francescoli F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leo Gilesindo. Francescoli F.C.'s Maximino Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Ourente in the 73rd minute of play. Blas Estevez struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Maximino Santxol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Flemon. Francescoli F.C.'s Moises Behe got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximino Santxol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, El Flemon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Steven to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute Blas Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Dimo in the 86th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes El Flemon got a freekick which was hit by Blas Estevez. Juan Rios's late challenge caught a El Flemon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rios helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Francescoli F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rios. The supporters of El Flemon booed when Francescoli F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Steven during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Flemon's Nemesio Steven got a free kick in the 96th minute. Silvano Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Teyo having to interfere. El Flemon were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Francescoli F.C. for a fine match.
