Andries Van Mechelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Gaskon, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Andries Van Mechelen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Andries Van Mechelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio De Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute, Norberto Otsoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carmelo Abajas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Lugo to make the kick off. Gerardo Kinsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Genaro Lugo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmelo Abajas was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. The long shot by Tomás Quintun in the 77th minute really tested Andries Van Mechelen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 78th match minute, Club Mercedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Gorbea to maneuver through the defense. Albertino Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Andries Van Mechelen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Proson FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Proson FC's Saturnino Gaskon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 89 minutes into the match, Club Mercedes's goalkeeper Andries Van Mechelen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodosio De Silva. Elpidio Estevez charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elpidio Estevez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
