The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Martin Duardo put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Nasaló:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Francescoli F.C.:s goal. Geronimo Erramun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Segio's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Geronimo Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Urki in the 41st minute of the match. But to his dismay, Nestor Ariando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Behe in the 46th minute of play forced Nasaló's goalkeeper Geronimo Erramun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Anselmo Orland made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Nasaló was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Orland to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Lore hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, Benicio Restu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nasaló's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Francescoli F.C. the free kick. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Francescoli F.C.. Moises Behe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Geronimo Erramun. 0-4. In the 73rd minute, Silvano Santo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Erramun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Geronimo Erramun made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Paolo Segio sent off a good shot on target. The Nasaló fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Erramun should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Nasaló's Anselmo Orland got a free kick in the 95th minute. With a little luck, Nasaló's Geronimo Erramun got control of the ball when Domingos Guillelmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francescoli F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
