The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Guipuzkoa got free with Amancio Gartxot in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 minutes of play, Chañarmullo's Serafin Seguinus made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. He walked away shaking his head. Saul Lekubegi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Gartzi's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The Sniffing Glue fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Sniffing Glue's Melquiades Guipuzkoa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Amancio Gartxot didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sniffing Glue's Melquiades Guipuzkoa shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Sniffing Glue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Cordeara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Melquiades Guipuzkoa sped through Chañarmullo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amancio Gartxot. Sniffing Glue's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
