Dionisio Txilar took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfredo Luken. Godfredo Luken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Anacleto Manny hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Wilian Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilian Breckenfeld in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerard Quintero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Godfredo Luken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Wilian Breckenfeld left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rüsselkäfer F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Dionisio Txilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Luken having to interfere. Gerard Quintero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Breckenfeld in the 38th minute of the match. Rüsselkäfer F.C's Godfredo Luken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Txilar in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Ramos in the 43rd minute of play forced Rüsselkäfer F.C's goalkeeper Godfredo Luken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Luken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Txilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dionisio Txilar to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionisio Txilar in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfredo Luken saved Rüsselkäfer F.C from getting behind. If Dionisio Txilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Manny hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Godfredo Luken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Txilar in the 67th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Membrillar FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Pello. Wilian Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Rüsselkäfer F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Ramos came free, but Godfredo Luken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Rüsselkäfer F.C's Godfredo Luken got control of the ball when Hermengildo Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute Şamil Vasif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Quintero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Hermengildo Ramos took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Godfredo Luken to make any attempt to save it. The Membrillar FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Membrillar FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
