In the 6th minute, Grigore Mergea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Jeraldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Caldas De Reis's Georges Marchais in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alberto Jeraldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Jaunti went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Georges Marchais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Grigore Mergea struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Alberto Jeraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caldas De Reis. After 40 minutes, Georges Marchais made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Del Piero 10's Alberto Jeraldo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Grigore Mergea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Jeraldo was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. If Gervasio Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Georges Marchais kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alberto Jeraldo. That made the score 0-8 in the 66 minute of play. Alberto Jeraldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grigore Mergea in the 72nd minute. When Georges Marchais came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Caldas De Reis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georges Marchais couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Grigore Mergea notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Del Piero 10's Alberto Jeraldo. Alberto Jeraldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caldas De Reis's Gervasio Ted got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grigore Mergea succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-11 in the 88th playminute. Del Piero 10's Alberto Jeraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Ted in the 91st minute of play. After 92 played minutes Del Piero 10 got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Tauro. When Genaro Senin fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Del Piero 10's protests and gave Genaro Senin a yellow card for diving instead. Genaro Senin hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
