After 6 minutes of play, Sniffing Glue's Cosme Guzman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseo Sazon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baltasar Vasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Eliseo Sazon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Sazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Dino in the 12th minute of play. Bankero FC's Bernardino Bertin got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sniffing Glue's Melquiades Guipuzkoa got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saul Lekubegi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardino Bertin in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Cosme Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sniffing Glue's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Guzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Sazon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Samuel Chesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Dino during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Sniffing Glue's zone, Bernardino Bertin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Lekubegi came out of the goal and Bernardino Bertin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismael Frederico kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Cosme Guzman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseo Sazon. Bankero FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosme Guzman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, Bankero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Guzman came free, but Eliseo Sazon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Sazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Chesus in the 39th minute of play. Bernardino Bertin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Saul Lekubegi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardino Bertin got free with Saul Lekubegi in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Bankero FC's Bernardino Bertin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The wind increased when Melquiades Guipuzkoa made the kick off in the second half. Saul Lekubegi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sniffing Glue getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ramone Dellasierra hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the game, Urbano Ortzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Saul Lekubegi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saul Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Bertin in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Sniffing Glue got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Milian. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Samuel Chesus took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Eliseo Sazon to make any attempt to save it. 66 minutes into the match, Bankero FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Sazon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Guzman. Sniffing Glue's Saul Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Bertin in the 67th minute of play. Saul Lekubegi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Cosme Guzman made a precise shot to the right of Eliseo Sazon. Bankero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Bankero FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Cosme Guzman scored to the left of an out of position Eliseo Sazon, making the score, 2-5. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bankero FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Sazon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sniffing Glue's Saul Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Bertin in the 89th minute of play. Saul Lekubegi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urbano Ortzi went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. A collision led to Sniffing Glue getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Amadeo Dino hit a great ball. Eliseo Sazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Guipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Sniffing Glue's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
