Jovita AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Heriberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 11th minute of the match, Benedicto Heriberto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robustiano Austin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Robustiano Austin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florentino Rameriz went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Cristobal Maties hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomero Guib could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Robustiano Austin made a huge save. If Camilo Abancens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomero Guib succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 6-0 in the 40th playminute. Baldomero Guib kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Rameriz in the 48th minute of play forced Jovita AFC's goalkeeper Robustiano Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomero Guib to make the kick off. Robustiano Austin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Heriberto in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Benedicto Heriberto made a precise shot to the right of Robustiano Austin. Jovita AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. River plate had played much better football throughout.
