Spectators: 7301 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1501, VIP seats: 150) ALMAFUERTE FC's Carolo Soter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the ALMAFUERTE FC defense, Florentino Rameriz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Alfonso. The ALMAFUERTE FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Alfonso should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute Carolo Soter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytaç Bartu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Benedicto Heriberto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Modesto Alfonso. Benedicto Heriberto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedicto Heriberto in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Alfonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th match minute, River plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Fidensio to maneuver through the defense. Aytaç Bartu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Fortun in the 19th minute of play. Modesto Alfonso was a little too slow when Baldomero Guib got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 3-0. 24 minutes into the game, ALMAFUERTE FC's Robbie Fowler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aytaç Bartu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. River plate's Aytaç Bartu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Soter in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute Feliciano Fortun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytaç Bartu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aytaç Bartu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Fortun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aytaç Bartu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Soter in the 34th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, River plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Dolby to maneuver through the defense. Robbie Fowler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 49 minutes of play, River plate's Benedicto Heriberto made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Alfonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Aytaç Bartu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to ALMAFUERTE FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Vladimiro Frichoso hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Benedicto Heriberto notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of ALMAFUERTE FC's Modesto Alfonso. Modesto Alfonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benedicto Heriberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Alfonso having to interfere. The supporters of River plate booed when ALMAFUERTE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Luar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Robbie Fowler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, River plate's Aytaç Bartu got control of the ball when Feliciano Fortun tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of ALMAFUERTE FC booed when River plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Dolby didn't get a good kick on the ball. ALMAFUERTE FC's Silvestre Iaki was substituted for Vladimiro Frichoso. ALMAFUERTE FC made a substitution. Teodosio Cordarrel replaced Feliciano Fortun. Teodosio Cordarrel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aytaç Bartu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Modesto Alfonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Heriberto in the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Benedicto Heriberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Erauso hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Paio got free with Aytaç Bartu in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Fowler in the 97th minute of play forced River plate's goalkeeper Aytaç Bartu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the River plate defense, Teodosio Cordarrel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aytaç Bartu. The River plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aytaç Bartu should have stopped the shot. River plate were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
