The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Modesto Alfonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generoso Isadore in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Segundo Rius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Cordairo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesar Argina kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Generoso Isadore who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Modesto Alfonso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Victorio Gaitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Alfonso having to interfere. When Victorio Gaitano came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Chatanooga F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorio Gaitano couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Chatanooga F.C. booed when ALMAFUERTE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Eutor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Nevada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Alfonso having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, ALMAFUERTE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Luar to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ALMAFUERTE FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Emanuel Luar hit a great ball. Generoso Isadore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Alfonso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. ALMAFUERTE FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Generoso Isadore scored to the left of an out of position Modesto Alfonso, making the score, 2-0. After 36 played minutes Chatanooga F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Eudoxio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Fowler in the 37th minute of play forced Chatanooga F.C.'s goalkeeper Aquiles Cordairo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robbie Fowler in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Cordairo saved Chatanooga F.C. from getting behind. In the 41st minute Ciriaco Claris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Cordairo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Robbie Fowler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALMAFUERTE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciriaco Claris to strike the kick off in the second half. Silverio Harkaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Modesto Alfonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Luar kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Nesto in the 65th minute of play forced Chatanooga F.C.'s goalkeeper Aquiles Cordairo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ALMAFUERTE FC made a substitution. Justino Suarez replaced Feliciano Fortun. ALMAFUERTE FC's Vladimiro Frichoso was substituted for Segundo Rius. 71 minutes into the match, Victorio Gaitano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Modesto Alfonso. ALMAFUERTE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorio Gaitano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Baldomiro Nesto's late challenge caught a Chatanooga F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Nesto helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes ALMAFUERTE FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Nesto. Modesto Alfonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Eudoxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. ALMAFUERTE FC's Baldomiro Nesto got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Baldomiro Nesto off the ground. In the 83rd match minute, ALMAFUERTE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Nesto to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the game, Filomeno Sol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chatanooga F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ALMAFUERTE FC the free kick. When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, ALMAFUERTE FC's Igor Federigo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aquiles Cordairo. The supporters of ALMAFUERTE FC booed when Chatanooga F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Veto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chatanooga F.C.'s Aquiles Cordairo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Endira in the 92nd minute of play. Vladimiro Frichoso succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-4. After 99 minutes Chatanooga F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Igor Federigo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Igor Federigo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aquiles Cordairo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle went the supporters of ALMAFUERTE FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Chatanooga F.C. side.
