Santurce FC's Gaspar Mikelar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Santurce FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Santurce FC defense, Eder Molina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Mikelar. The Santurce FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Mikelar should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Los Camboyanos's Tercero Tolentin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Santurce FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Camboyanos:s goal. Gaspar Mikelar was a little too slow when Tercero Tolentin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 9-0. Eder Molina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Santurce FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Aznar came free, but Gaspar Mikelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Santurce FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dragan Futekov came free, but Gaspar Mikelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Haritz was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Juan Haritz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Mikelar was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. The supporters of Santurce FC booed when Los Camboyanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragan Futekov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Los Camboyanos's Eder Molina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santurce FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Haritz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 16-0. When Julio Mateo fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Camboyanos's protests and gave Julio Mateo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Los Camboyanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Mateo to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Camboyanos had played much better football throughout.
