Armando Quintan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Suero in the 8th minute of play forced Templarios's goalkeeper Arnoldo Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Blanco hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The supporters of Templarios booed when Γ Ξ D was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Teyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Γ Ξ D's Apolo Teyo got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Bernabe Salomon came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Γ Ξ D fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Salomon couldn't finish the play.
