Motor Alma y Sangre's Richmond Kustermans got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Motor Alma y Sangre's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Misael came free, but Silvio Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomero Pacifico kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Patagonia FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Nestor Chano hit a great ball. When Baldomero Pacifico fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Motor Alma y Sangre's protests and gave Baldomero Pacifico a yellow card for diving instead. Silvio Jax had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Ciro Beremundo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eusebio Ferrans short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Nivaldo Horta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Patagonia FC's Nivaldo Horta got control of the ball when Eusebio Ferran tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 played minutes Patagonia FC got a freekick which was hit by Denis Misael. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Misael to make the kick off. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Alfredo Barrionuevo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvio Jax skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Motor Alma y Sangre had won after a very even match.
