If Teodosio Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sportivo La Cesira's Godofredo Erasto got a free kick in the 5th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Saul Naike had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Fix. Sportivo La Cesira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saul Naike was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 15th minute, Saul Naike made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Fix. Sportivo La Cesira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Samuel Fix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saul Naike's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Sportivo La Cesira's Samuel Fix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Suero in the 21st minute of play. Samuel Fix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Suero in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Sportivo La Cesira booed when Γ Ξ D was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Emesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Naike in the 34th minute of play forced Sportivo La Cesira's goalkeeper Samuel Fix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sportivo La Cesira's Samuel Fix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Naike in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Γ Ξ D's Saul Naike nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Fix made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 45th minute Saul Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Γ Ξ D was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Cai to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Naike stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armando Quintan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Medina in the 51st minute of play. Saul Naike had several of the Sportivo La Cesira's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Samuel Fix as he didn't even see the shot coming. Amancio Chabier kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Sportivo La Cesira's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Severiano Suero scored to the left of an out of position Samuel Fix, making the score, 1-6. Samuel Fix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Salomon in the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Severiano Suero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Γ Ξ D fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. After 75 played minutes Γ Ξ D got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Salomon. In the 78th play minute Bernabe Salomon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Samuel Fix. 1-8. After having played for 81 minutes, Saul Naike managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Γ Ξ D's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Naike was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Fix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Cai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sportivo La Cesira's Samuel Fix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo La Cesira from getting a goal against them. In the 84th match minute, Sportivo La Cesira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Erasto to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Sportivo La Cesira's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Naike came free, but Samuel Fix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Γ Ξ D's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
