Spectators: 7441 (Terracing: 5582, Seating: 1711, VIP seats: 148) DEP's Albano Sol started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Fernando Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Piojos's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Normando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hu Jing Jie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Los Piojos defense, Rafael Loramendi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Hodei. The Los Piojos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Hodei should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute Albano Sol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the DEP defense, Victorio Matxin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hu Jing Jie. The DEP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hu Jing Jie should have stopped the shot. After 22 played minutes Los Piojos got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Bide. Albano Sol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Elvio Hodei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Loramendi's late challenge caught a Los Piojos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Loramendi helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes DEP got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Loramendi. Elvio Hodei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Loramendi in the 29th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in DEP fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! In the 37th match minute, DEP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Sol to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Victorio Matxin made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Matxin in the 60th minute of play forced DEP's goalkeeper Hu Jing Jie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hu Jing Jie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Matxin in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Los Piojos's Victorio Matxin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hu Jing Jie. Hu Jing Jie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Los Piojos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
