Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Stegos's Saverio Salbatore started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erasmo Vigil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the game, Saverio Salbatore lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Elvio Hodei. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Saverio Salbatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stegos's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Salbatore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Hodei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Los Piojos getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mario Turi hit a great ball. Elvio Hodei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horacio Policarpio went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Serafino Veto hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With his leg Elvio Hodei managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Stegos's Saverio Salbatore fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Los Piojos's Serafino Veto got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Elvio Hodei made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Saverio Salbatore sent off a good shot on target. Elvio Hodei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Salbatore in the 24th minute. Elvio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Vigil in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualterio Bordat during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elvio Hodei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saverio Salbatore went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Erasmo Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Salbatore got free with Elvio Hodei in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Stegos fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Stegos's Saverio Salbatore looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorio Matxin to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Saverio Salbatore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Hodei was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Elvio Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Salbatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Stegos were awarded a corner. The supporters of Los Piojos booed when Stegos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Salbatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Stegos's Armando Paskal got a free kick in the 67th minute. Benito Velasco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fernando Normando. Erasmo Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Hodei having to interfere. Erasmo Vigil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvio Hodei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Los Piojos's Elvio Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Vigil in the 79th minute of play. When Saverio Salbatore fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stegos's protests and gave Saverio Salbatore a yellow card for diving instead. Saverio Salbatore hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of Los Piojos booed when Stegos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Salvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes Stegos got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Salvino. A collision led to Stegos getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Saverio Salbatore hit a great ball.
