Ermegildo Fidensio might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hu Jing Jie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ermegildo Fidensio ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Gunnarsen in the 7th minute of play forced DEP's goalkeeper Hu Jing Jie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Fidensio in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hu Jing Jie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to La Guardia Imperial getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Timoteo Quinto hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Kenneth Gunnarsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Guardia Imperial's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenneth Gunnarsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hu Jing Jie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kenneth Gunnarsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When La Guardia Imperial's Ermegildo Fidensio in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DEP's goalie prevented a goal. Hu Jing Jie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermegildo Fidensio's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Ermegildo Fidensio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Guardia Imperial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Fidensio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Fidensio in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hu Jing Jie saved DEP from getting behind. Kenneth Gunnarsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hu Jing Jie having to interfere. Hu Jing Jie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Gunnarsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermegildo Fidensio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Kenneth Gunnarsen made the kick off in the second half. Kenneth Gunnarsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenneth Gunnarsen struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Hu Jing Jie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Guardia Imperial. Kenneth Gunnarsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Hu Jing Jie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hu Jing Jie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Fidensio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Hu Jing Jie successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kenneth Gunnarsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Hu Jing Jie made a huge save. When Ermegildo Fidensio came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the La Guardia Imperial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Fidensio couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, DEP's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Fidensio came free, but Hu Jing Jie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kenneth Gunnarsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenneth Gunnarsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hu Jing Jie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Hu Jing Jie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermegildo Fidensio's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. DEP's Hu Jing Jie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save DEP from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute, La Guardia Imperial's Ermegildo Fidensio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in DEP's zone, Epifanio Perico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hu Jing Jie came out of the goal and Epifanio Perico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Guardia Imperial's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
