After 10 played minutes Club Atletico Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Theobald. A well-hit corner resulted in Jeronimo Isadore heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ciro Gombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Federigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Gombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Federigo in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 minutes Club Atletico Talleres's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mannie Calle who took care of the corner kick. Mannie Calle made a great header on QUASAR AZULGRANA's corner, it was just that Club Atletico Talleres's Ciro Gombal managed to reach the ball for a save. 25 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Talleres's goalkeeper Ciro Gombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Federigo. Club Atletico Talleres's Ciro Gombal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Talleres from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, Rosendo Baristo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes, Club Atletico Talleres's Joel Nalo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgilio Jerold came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atletico Talleres reached it. A collision led to QUASAR AZULGRANA getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Oscar Guerrero hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Talleres's Joel Nalo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With an all-out effort, QUASAR AZULGRANA's Ciro Gombal threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Humberto Gartxot, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ciro Gombal came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by QUASAR AZULGRANA's Humberto Gartxot. But to his dismay, Humberto Gartxot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 41 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Lizer came free, but Ciro Gombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Cordara kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes, QUASAR AZULGRANA's Mannie Calle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciro Gombal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in QUASAR AZULGRANA reached it. Ciro Gombal made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Marco Federigo sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th match minute, Club Atletico Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitrie Sluis to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Federigo to make the kick off. Humberto Gartxot scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Gombal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Balbi came free, but Virgilio Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Dimitrie Sluis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Gaspard scored 5-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Gombal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Atletico Talleres's Ciro Gombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Gaspard in the 72nd minute of play. QUASAR AZULGRANA were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Club Atletico Talleres's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mannie Calle took the corner. The corner led QUASAR AZULGRANA's Mannie Calle to fire away a dangerous shot which Ciro Gombal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Gaspard in the 75th minute of play forced Club Atletico Talleres's goalkeeper Ciro Gombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes Club Atletico Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Severino Vellito. Ciro Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Gaspard in the 87th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Anier Gaspard put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ciro Gombal. Lee Staratschek's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Virgilio Jerold firmly grabbed it by the left post.
