Zeledon Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steffen Hemelaers got free with Sergio Caton in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Putin Club - OFF's Ivan Dalmai got a free kick in the 9th minute. Sergio Caton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Salomone in the 11th minute of play. Remigio Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. El Millo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Steffen Hemelaers scored to the left of an out of position Sergio Caton, making the score, 1-0. In the 28thth minute of the game Marcelo Evangelista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Putin Club - OFF's Severo Roderigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Acácio Oliveira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Putin Club - OFF's Severo Roderigo. Severo Roderigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute Acácio Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, El Millo's goal looked a bit too open when Steffen Hemelaers came free, but Sergio Caton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Orain hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Evangelista to strike the kick off in the second half. Severo Roderigo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Acácio Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Evangelista's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Severo Roderigo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 56 minutes, Steffen Hemelaers made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. El Millo's Sergio Caton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, El Millo's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Salomone came free, but Sergio Caton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Salvador Mambru came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the El Millo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Mambru couldn't finish the play. After 67 minutes, Higinio Orain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Putin Club - OFF and the El Millo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Higinio Orain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to El Millo getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Zeledon Santiago hit a great ball. Sergio Caton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Salomone in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Putin Club - OFF got a corner. El Millo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baltasar Perutxo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sergio Caton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Hemelaers in the 76th minute of play. After 78 played minutes El Millo got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Santiago. After having played for 79 minutes, Steffen Hemelaers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Putin Club - OFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen Hemelaers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Remigio Salomone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Caton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steffen Hemelaers's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Emanuel Hotz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Putin Club - OFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Millo the free kick. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Remigio Salomone put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sergio Caton. Many of El Millo's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. El Millo may have spent more time on the ball, but Putin Club - OFF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
