The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Jose Sand FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Salomone came free, but Uriel Mateus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Putin Club - OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Hotz to maneuver through the defense. If Remigio Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Jose Sand FC's Urbano Oso got a free kick in the 12th minute. Uriel Mateus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Steffen Hemelaers went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Remigio Salomone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Mateus having to interfere. Urbano Oso's late challenge caught a Putin Club - OFF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urbano Oso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Urbano Oso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Mateus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steffen Hemelaers, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Steffen Hemelaers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Putin Club - OFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen Hemelaers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Remigio Salomone came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Putin Club - OFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Salomone couldn't finish the play. Remigio Salomone scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Mateus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Steffen Hemelaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Uriel Mateus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes of play, Jose Sand FC's Van Castro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severo Roderigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Remigio Salomone made a precise shot to the right of Uriel Mateus. Jose Sand FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 43rd minute, Steffen Hemelaers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Putin Club - OFF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Uriel Mateus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Salomone in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Putin Club - OFF's goalkeeper Severo Roderigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Leocadio. The Jose Sand FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Putin Club - OFF were winning 1-4.

Uriel Mateus was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Steffen Hemelaers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Steffen Hemelaers really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Steffen Hemelaers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uriel Mateus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After 59 minutes Putin Club - OFF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rubén Montt who took care of the corner kick. In the 64th minute, Remigio Salomone reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Uriel Mateus. The goal made the score 1-6. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Steffen Hemelaers took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Uriel Mateus to make any attempt to save it. Uriel Mateus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Salomone in the 81st minute of the match. When Jose Sand FC's Rubén Montt in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Putin Club - OFF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
