El Millo's Sergio Caton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Palos in the 21st minute of play. El Millo's Marcelo Evangelista got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aigisthos Farmakis hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes Metrotel got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Palos. In the 41st minute, Marcelo Evangelista made a precise shot to the right of Basilio Nesor. Metrotel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Evangelista in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Nesor saved Metrotel from getting behind. Metrotel's Mariano Quintana was substituted for Saul Hernandez. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualterio Palos to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Metrotel got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Kimetz. 60 minutes into the match, Metrotel's goal looked a bit too open when Nigel Zammit came free, but Basilio Nesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marcelo Evangelista came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the El Millo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Evangelista couldn't finish the play. Acácio Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Evangelista in the 64th minute of play forced Metrotel's goalkeeper Basilio Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Nesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Evangelista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Oliveira in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Rolando Kimetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Metrotel's goalkeeper Basilio Nesor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Marcelo Evangelista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Metrotel's goalkeeper Basilio Nesor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 77 played minutes Metrotel got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Ermengol. Marcelo Evangelista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Basilio Nesor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. After a rather tough play, Metrotel's Marcelino Eufemio got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Marcelo Evangelista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Nesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Evangelista got free with Basilio Nesor in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Metrotel's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aigisthos Farmakis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Evangelista in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Nesor saved Metrotel from getting behind. Marcelo Evangelista got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-9 in the right cross in the 93rd match minute before Basilio Nesor had time to react. Marcelo Evangelista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Basilio Nesor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
