Ramon Lluques was a little too slow when Vernon Messenger got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 3-0. When Fermin Walme fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albariño's protests and gave Fermin Walme a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Fermin Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ramon Lluques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Cedro in the 55th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Horacio Cedro sped through Albariño's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramon Lluques.
