The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Albariño's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Izotz came free, but Ramon Lluques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lázaro Balasi took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Lluques. Ramon Lluques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lázaro Balasi struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ramon Lluques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpo BB. In the 9th minute, Ricardo Quilo made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Lluques. Albariño's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 12th match minute, Albariño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Tibalt to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes of play, Olimpo BB's Ricardo Quilo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Lluques was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albariño's Ramon Lluques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Balasi in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Anibal Urre made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Lluques. Albariño's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 26th minute, Emanuel Izotz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramon Lluques was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After 33 played minutes Olimpo BB got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Balasi. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Lázaro Balasi sped through Albariño's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramon Lluques. After some careless play in the Albariño defense, Lázaro Balasi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Lluques. The Albariño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Lluques should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Anibal Urre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anibal Urre to make the kick off. Anibal Urre succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 51st playminute. Albariño's Ramon Lluques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Albariño from getting a goal against them. When Anibal Urre came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Olimpo BB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Urre couldn't finish the play. Olimpo BB's Jairo Perpinya was substituted for Lázaro Balasi. Ramon Lluques was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Jairo Perpinya capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jairo Perpinya really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Albariño's Evelio Tibalt got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Albariño's Santiago Mino got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Anibal Urre made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Lluques. Albariño's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Ramon Lluques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Quilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Jairo Perpinya took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Ramon Lluques to make any attempt to save it. Fermin Walme hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Anibal Urre notched a goal, 0-14, to the right of Albariño's Ramon Lluques. Ramon Lluques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Olimpo BB's Jairo Perpinya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ramon Lluques. That made the score 0-15 after 93 minutes of play. Denis Giraldo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Olimpo BB's Ramon Lluques threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jairo Perpinya, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Olimpo BB's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
