La Candelaria FC's Sixto Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Cedro in the 39th minute of play. Luciano Jakes hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Horacio Cedro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Celso Lobo managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D.Berazategui's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Lobo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Jobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
