Inter Miami's Isidoro Ongile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Inter Miami from getting a goal against them. After 8 played minutes Inter Miami got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Sendoa. After a defensive mix-up in Inter Miami's zone, Cayetano Guillelmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Ongile came out of the goal and Cayetano Guillelmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Inter Miami's goalkeeper Isidoro Ongile had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidio Nuñez. Cosme Sendoa's late challenge caught a C. A. C. A.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosme Sendoa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami's Cosme Sendoa got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, C. A. C. A.'s Cayetano Guillelmo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isidoro Ongile. Isidoro Ongile yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Isidoro Ongile made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Fernando Birila sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Birila got free with Isidoro Ongile in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cosme Sendoa was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of C. A. C. A. booed when Inter Miami was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Sendoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Birila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Ongile having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Birila to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Txindoki charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Txindoki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami's Jacinto Txindoki got a free kick in the 50th minute. Cayetano Guillelmo struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Isidoro Ongile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. C. A.. Enzo Crescencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Inter Miami's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Birila came free, but Isidoro Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Birila in the 61st minute of play. Inter Miami's Isidoro Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Guillelmo in the 66th minute of play. Alejo Mikolas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Filomeno Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C. A. C. A.'s Nicasio Iratze was substituted for Ovidio Nuñez. C. A. C. A.'s Lisandro Vargas was substituted for Cayetano Guillelmo. Enzo Crescencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inter Miami's Alejo Mikolas got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Nunez Gipuzkoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. C. A.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter Miami the free kick. In the 84th minute, Nunez Gipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Marco Frances shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Loco made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Enzo Crescencio sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 93 in the game by Alejo Mikolas from a close distance when the talented Filomeno Loco managed to make a qualified save. C. A. C. A.'s players were relieved. Inter Miami's Isidoro Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Vargas in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Lisandro Vargas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Ongile was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
