Arni FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Arni FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Cristian Berart hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Arni FC defense, Dino Simeoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Dalmau. The Arni FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Dalmau should have stopped the shot. Benito Illan made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Snæþór Þorbergsson sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Vicente Jakue made the kick off in the second half. Fran Milo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Dalmau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dino Simeoni went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Humberto Dalmau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Jakue, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Dino Simeoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Vicente Jakue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Humberto Dalmau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, Anselmo Cilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
