In the 25th minute, Zeledon Curcio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Txurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, La Culebrita's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Curcio came free, but Anselmo Txurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes La Culebrita got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Dunixi. Anselmo Txurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Curcio in the 34th minute of play. With a little luck, Rosario Central's Narciso Elia got control of the ball when Zeledon Dunixi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donato Claude recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Ignacio Eudoxio made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of La Culebrita booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Sabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Culebrita's Simon Mateus got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Gar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rd minute, Ignacio Eudoxio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Culebrita's Osvaldo Venceslas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cecilio Millan, made in the 85th minute of the game.
