The corner led felipesss's Aristides Bittor to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Dodorol despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 85th minute, one of felipesss:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for felipesss. Fernando Berasko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Eleazar's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Geofredo in the 90th minute of play forced felipesss's goalkeeper Fernando Berasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Calixto got free with Julio Dodorol in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnulfo Geofredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Berasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
