Feliciano Marin started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Cirilo Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Natacion Cba booed when Cabrones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Liberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Natacion Cba's Roque Dino got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 14th minute, Cabrones's Johan Harlén seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Johan Harlén the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cabrones protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Johan Harlén had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Cabrones:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Natacion Cba:s goal. Everardo Aimar had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Natalio Hitz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Everardo Aimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Brasil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfredo Cordearo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The Cabrones fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Cabrones's Severo Izotz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 32 minutes into the match, Cabrones's goalkeeper Everardo Aimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Hitz. In the 33rd minute of the match Natacion Cba got a corner. Cabrones's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Natalio Hitz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Natalio Hitz made a great header on Natacion Cba's corner, it was just that Cabrones's Everardo Aimar managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 36th minute, Dante Tuste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Natacion Cba's Natalio Hitz tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Santiago Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Godfredo Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 42 played minutes Cabrones got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Liberto. In the 43rd play minute Lisandro Lorenz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Everardo Aimar. 1-1. Everardo Aimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Hitz in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severo Izotz made a kick off. Everardo Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Hitz in the 53rd minute of the match. Everardo Aimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolf Ekelhoff during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Cabrones got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Ekelhoff. 2-1 became the score in the 58th minute when Geronimo Innocenzio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Severo Izotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Lorenz in the 66th minute of play forced Cabrones's goalkeeper Everardo Aimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Natacion Cba's goalkeeper Godfredo Cordearo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Natalio Hitz fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Natacion Cba's protests and gave Natalio Hitz a yellow card for diving instead. Natalio Hitz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Natalio Hitz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Aires hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Severo Izotz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Godfredo Cordearo came out and tried to block the shot, but Severo Izotz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Natacion Cba getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Roque Dino hit a great ball. Cabrones's Everardo Aimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Hitz in the 85th minute of play. Godfredo Cordearo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Brasil in the 93rd minute. Cabrones's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
