WASD's Epifanio Kauldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Izotz in the 10th minute of play. Rolf Ekelhoff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Osmundo in the 16th minute of play forced Cabrones's goalkeeper Everardo Aimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cabrones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Osmundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Osmundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Severo Izotz mouthed his way into the referee's book. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. WASD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
