Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Erik Lund made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Ariel FC's zone, Nereo Argina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Vimaro came out of the goal and Nereo Argina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Lesardo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Lesardo in the 16th minute of play forced River's goalkeeper Cosme Fernendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th match minute, River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaetan Slaghmeulders to maneuver through the defense. Ariel FC's Valentin Lesardo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Angel Frederico scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosme Fernendo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Nereo Argina notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ariel FC's David Vimaro. David Vimaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cosme Fernendo stood somewhat misplaced when Valentin Lesardo came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 34 minute. River's Cosme Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Lesardo in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to River getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Erik Lund hit a great ball. Cosme Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Lesardo in the 42nd minute of play. David Vimaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaetan Slaghmeulders went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Frederico was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Lesardo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Fernendo saved River from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaetan Slaghmeulders got free with David Vimaro in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardino Cuarto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. River's Nereo Argina got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Gaetan Slaghmeulders took a quick shot and it went in 3-5 without a chance for David Vimaro to make any attempt to save it. River's Erik Lund got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nereo Argina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel FC's Bernardino Cuarto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for River. 81 minutes into the match, Ariel FC's goalkeeper David Vimaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Lund. Nereo Argina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. David Vimaro came out and tried to block the shot, but Nereo Argina slotted it home off the left post making it 3-6 in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Erik Lund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Vimaro. The goal made the score 3-7. Cosme Fernendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Frederico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Lesardo in the 92nd minute of play forced River's goalkeeper Cosme Fernendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. River's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
