In the 24th minute, Higinio Urtzi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicolas Selatse. The goal made the score 6-0. Sportivo Italiano's Moises Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Selatse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moises Cordeiro's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The supporters of Facu club booed when Sportivo Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Braña didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Moises Cordeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicolas Selatse. Moises Cordeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 8-0. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Moises Cordeiro put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nicolas Selatse. 47 minutes into the game, Sportivo Italiano's Moises Cordeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 11-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Cordeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Bastian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicolas Selatse. Facu club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Mitxaut in the 61st minute of play forced Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Elpidio Llanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Elpidio Llanos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Tomas Fernendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Moises Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sportivo Italiano fully deserved thier win.
