Horacio Dantel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 0-7 became the score in the 44th minute when Octavio Leheren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Octavio Leheren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gran Torino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

Horacio Dantel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Leheren, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Octavio Leheren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horacio Dantel. That made the score 0-9 in the 58 minute of play. Horacio Dantel was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Raimundo Nazario capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raimundo Nazario really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. After 64 played minutes Raimundo Nazario rounded Nasals Más's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-11. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 0-12 when Octavio Leheren sped through Nasals Más's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horacio Dantel. Horacio Dantel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavio Leheren in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Gran Torino's Octavio Leheren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horacio Dantel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Raimundo Nazario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horacio Dantel. That made the score 0-16 in the 91 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Raimundo Nazario took a quick shot and it went in 0-17 without a chance for Horacio Dantel to make any attempt to save it.
