In the 15th minute, Nereo Argina fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joel Eleazar, passed just outside the right post. Victoriano Mosen kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, River's Erik Lund made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A collision led to River getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Filomeno Distiratsu hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Larpe was the one to do the kick off. Corolina FC's Joel Eleazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Lund in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Corolina FC's Miguel Guillen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Miguel Guillen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Corolina FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Miguel Guillen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 54th minute, Miguel Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaetan Slaghmeulders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timoteo Joseph kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Gaetan Slaghmeulders managed to get in a good position for a shot. River's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaetan Slaghmeulders was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Eleazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Corolina FC defense, Nereo Argina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Eleazar. The Corolina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Eleazar should have stopped the shot. Jimeno Laurentzi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. A collision led to River getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Nereo Argina hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Corolina FC defense, Nereo Argina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Eleazar. The Corolina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Eleazar should have stopped the shot. Filomeno Distiratsu kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Nereo Argina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Joel Eleazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nereo Argina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Eleazar having to interfere. Joel Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaetan Slaghmeulders in the 80th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Filomeno Distiratsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corolina FC the free kick. Corolina FC made a substitution. Uriel Edorta replaced Elpidio Unax. In the 91st match minute, River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Distiratsu to maneuver through the defense.
