Aurelio Quintin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desta Korey having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Enio Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Desta Korey successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Desta Korey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Theodore in the 20th minute of the match. Deportivo Chivilcoy were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after ARGENTINA UNIDA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Casimiro Pirro took the corner. In the 25th minute, Mauro Tadzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Chivilcoy's Casimiro Pirro tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Ragnar Lodbrok made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Sindo. Deportivo Chivilcoy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 34 played minutes Deportivo Chivilcoy got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Vermudo. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Harun Başesgi managed to get in a good position for a shot. ARGENTINA UNIDA's supporters rose to their feet, but Harun Başesgi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Sindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulino Sindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragnar Lodbrok, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half ARGENTINA UNIDA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Desta Korey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Quintin in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Niceto Theodore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Chivilcoy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Theodore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Theodore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Evelio Dacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desta Korey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 81 minutes into the match, Deportivo Chivilcoy's Aurelio Quintin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desta Korey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Harun Başesgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes, Manuel Abad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ARGENTINA UNIDA and the Deportivo Chivilcoy players grew even worse after the yellow card.
