An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Hansson in the 11th minute of play forced San Martin de Tucumán's goalkeeper Marcial Paskal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucumán's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Herensuge came free, but Marcial Paskal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bonifacio Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Dodorol in the 22nd minute of the match. Bonifacio Matxin made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Kemal Müfit sent off a good shot on target. Kemal Müfit in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bonifacio Matxin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Di Kang Ying hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Kemal Müfit made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Cosme Guter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 minutes Caballo Negro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaudencio Bixintxo who took care of the corner kick. Dan Hansson took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Paskal. Marcial Paskal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kemal Müfit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bonifacio Matxin having to make a save. If Gaudencio Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Bixintxo in the 67th minute of the match. After 74 minutes, Iker Herensuge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caballo Negro and the San Martin de Tucumán players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute of the match Gaudencio Bixintxo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bonifacio Matxin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Caballo Negro's Dan Hansson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Marcial Paskal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Marcial Paskal made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Abel Llorienzo sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the game, San Martin de Tucumán's Gaudencio Bixintxo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bonifacio Matxin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 95th minute Abel Llorienzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Paskal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Martin de Tucumán's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
