In the 10th minute, Igor Serapio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Tebaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Villa Castelar's Fausto Odilon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rafael Tebaldo but with some difficulty. Igor Serapio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Rafael Tebaldo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Villa Castelar's Horacio Fresco got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Erivaldo Pirani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bruvery fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Bruvery getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gerardo Pirmin hit a great ball. Igor Serapio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Tebaldo having to make a save. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bruvery's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raul Mikelar was slow to take the kick. During this time Villa Castelar's players had a chance to rest. Raul Mikelar made a great header on Villa Castelar's corner, it was just that Bruvery's Rafael Tebaldo managed to reach the ball for a save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Serapio was the one to do the kick off. Andres Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Rafael Tebaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Isias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Iztal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute of the match Bruvery got a corner. Villa Castelar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonides Heli ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Paulo Iztal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Erivaldo Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Marco Isias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Villa Castelar booed when Bruvery was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Heli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruvery's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Serapio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Igor Serapio spun around in front of the goal 88 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Bruvery's goal. In the 92ndth minute of the game Igor Serapio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bruvery's Rafael Tebaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Villa Castelar's Igor Serapio got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Igor Serapio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Castelar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Villa Castelar fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bruvery had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
