Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) San Homer de Almagro's Meder Balague started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Dadá Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to San Homer de Almagro getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Tabby Alamos hit a great ball. Meder Balague might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anier Aires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Meder Balague ran back to his position shaking his head. Caco Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Donio in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Rosendo Luke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anier Aires. BOCA JUNIORS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosendo Luke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 24 minutes, Meder Balague made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. BOCA JUNIORS's Anier Aires tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Anier Aires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Gabrio in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of BOCA JUNIORS booed when San Homer de Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Pirro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The San Homer de Almagro fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when San Homer de Almagro's Meder Balague looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabian Hryc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to BOCA JUNIORS getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Raimundo Peruxu hit a great ball. Anier Aires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteban Corderall went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the match, San Homer de Almagro's Meder Balague sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anier Aires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The BOCA JUNIORS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Homer de Almagro were winning 0-4.

San Homer de Almagro's Caco Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Navarro in the 51st minute of play. When Esteban Corderall came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the San Homer de Almagro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Corderall couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Dadá Madureira notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of BOCA JUNIORS's Anier Aires. Anier Aires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With 64 minutes on the clock, Raimundo Peruxu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Fabian Hryc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, BOCA JUNIORS's goal looked a bit too open when Meder Balague came free, but Anier Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Meder Balague's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Aires was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Dadá Madureira made a precise shot to the right of Anier Aires. BOCA JUNIORS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. A collision led to San Homer de Almagro getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dadá Madureira hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Meder Balague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Aires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95thth minute of the game Meder Balague who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BOCA JUNIORS's Anier Aires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Ebardo during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match was over San Homer de Almagro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BOCA JUNIORS throughout the match.
