The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Medina got free with Marco Isias in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Isias was a little too slow when Jimeno Medina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Gregorio Rexino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Tipi having to interfere. Valentin Pere blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Isias having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Jimeno Medina took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Marco Isias to make any attempt to save it. After 14 minutes, Anibal Pacorro made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Villa Castelar's Marco Isias tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jimeno Medina succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 20th playminute. Marco Isias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Pere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Los Punteros's Anibal Pacorro in 28 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Marco Isias guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. A collision led to Villa Castelar getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Eduardo Vargas hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Los Punteros's Jimeno Medina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Isias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Montae in the 33rd minute of play forced Villa Castelar's goalkeeper Marco Isias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Justo Berart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Isias was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Jesus Tipi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Serapio to make the kick off. Marco Isias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Villa Castelar getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Albano Lia hit a great ball. The supporters of Los Punteros booed when Villa Castelar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Lia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Villa Castelar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Isias should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Castelar's goalkeeper Marco Isias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oscar Theobald charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Theobald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oscar Theobald kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Marco Isias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Montae, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Los Punteros's Hilario Montae got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Los Punteros's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
