In the 7th minute Igor Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Isias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tanner Dietz's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Tanner Dietz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Isias having to interfere. Igor Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Con Elegancia FC's Jaime Lonzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Isias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Andres Martxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Con Elegancia FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Mark. Igor Serapio charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Serapio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Igor Serapio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmacio Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Chumo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristides Marin made a kick off. If Igor Serapio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Villa Castelar's Raul Mikelar got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Gregorio Rexino came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Villa Castelar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Rexino couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Con Elegancia FC's Oscar Garaona got a free kick in the 65th minute. Raul Mikelar struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Dalmacio Chuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Castelar. In the 68th minute Jaime Lonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Isias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Fresco kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Tanner Dietz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristides Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Con Elegancia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Serapio came free, but Dalmacio Chuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Igor Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Igor Serapio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Con Elegancia FC's Dalmacio Chuan. Dalmacio Chuan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the game, Igor Serapio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dalmacio Chuan. Igor Serapio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Dalmacio Chuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Serapio in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Villa Castelar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
