Ambrosio Ebardo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Leonides Hernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Caco Alves made a huge save. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Meder Balague sped through NOVAKASA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sixto Toribio. After a rather tough play, San Homer de Almagro's Lucas Pirro got a free kick in the 40th minute. Caco Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Mocko in the 43rd minute of play. Meder Balague's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixto Toribio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The supporters of San Homer de Almagro booed when NOVAKASA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Mocko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caco Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the NOVAKASA defense, Dadá Madureira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Toribio. The NOVAKASA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Toribio should have stopped the shot. The San Homer de Almagro fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when San Homer de Almagro's Meder Balague looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
