Christian Weather made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zahid Al Banai in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Mane Ribas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madurga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mane Ribas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Weather breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Eladio to strike the kick off in the second half. Anibal Walme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Weather having to make a save. Anibal Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Christian Weather tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ruperto Osoro fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Madurga FC's protests and gave Ruperto Osoro a yellow card for diving instead. 71 minutes into the match, Madurga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Eladio came free, but Chiquito Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Madurga FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Bermund. In the 75th minute of the match, Eustaquio Sal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Chiquito Reyes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Anibal Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Juveniles Piratas Cba's Federico Frutos got a free kick in the 88th minute. Jonathan Arias hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Madurga FC's Chiquito Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Eladio in the 95th minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Zahid Al Banai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madurga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zahid Al Banai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
