Jonathan Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 3 minutes, Gervasio Arnas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentina AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Arnas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Haritzeder in the 7th minute of play forced Madurga FC's goalkeeper Chiquito Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Lixandro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mane Ribas in the 11th minute. Roque Lamberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiquito Reyes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute Emilio Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquito Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Argentina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Haritzeder. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Madurga FC's goalkeeper Chiquito Reyes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chiquito Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Arnas in the 25th minute of play. Mane Ribas had several of the Argentina AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Romulo Lixandro as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 36 played minutes Madurga FC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Garci. After 40 played minutes Argentina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Osoitz. In the 43rd minute, Madurga FC's Mane Ribas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gervasio Arnas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Argentina AFC's Romulo Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zahid Al Banai in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match Argentina AFC got a corner. Madurga FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio Haritzeder ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Madurga FC's goalie and right to Braulio Claus. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Madurga FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gervasio Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquito Reyes having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Argentina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Haritzeder. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anibal Walme in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romulo Lixandro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romulo Lixandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Walme, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Romulo Lixandro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Walme in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Zahid Al Banai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Lixandro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Lixandro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mane Ribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Walme in the 83rd minute of play forced Argentina AFC's goalkeeper Romulo Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Madurga FC defense, Emilio Haritzeder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chiquito Reyes. The Madurga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiquito Reyes should have stopped the shot. Gervasio Arnas struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Chiquito Reyes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentina AFC. Argentina AFC's Emilio Haritzeder got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Gervasio Arnas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chiquito Reyes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
