Ceres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severo Gonzalez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Severo Gonzalez struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Patricio Abeita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miramar Celtic F.C.. Severo Gonzalez scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Abeita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Ceres's Hugo Almeida slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgard Tino. That made the score 1-2 after 13 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Miramar Celtic F.C.'s Guillermo Efren got a free kick in the 15th minute. A collision led to Ceres getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Prospero Igon hit a great ball. Patricio Abeita came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Miramar Celtic F.C.'s Severo Gonzalez. But to his dismay, Severo Gonzalez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Petre Bilașco came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgard Tino could save by the left post. Severo Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Gonzalez in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Abeita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prospero Igon hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ceres booed when Miramar Celtic F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Laurentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Ceres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. The Ceres players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Miramar Celtic F.C. were winning 1-3.

A collision led to Ceres getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mario Fernandes hit a great ball. Ceres's Patricio Abeita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Gonzalez in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Laurentzi got free with Patricio Abeita in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petre Bilașco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Cornelio Kauldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Gonzalez had several of the Ceres's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Patricio Abeita as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Hernan Laurentzi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Patricio Abeita as he didn't even see the shot coming. With his leg Patricio Abeita managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Miramar Celtic F.C.'s Severo Gonzalez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Guillermo Efren took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Abeita. Patricio Abeita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Severo Gonzalezs short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Patricio Abeita to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Daniel Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Miramar Celtic F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ceres throughout the match.
