Miraflores FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Demetrio Spiazzi scored to the left of an out of position Ernesto Eliazar, making the score, 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, Miraflores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Aguero came free, but Ernesto Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Delfino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Neto was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The supporters of Miraflores FC booed when Prodan Sokol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Aguero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmund Samuelsson's late challenge caught a Miraflores FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 75th minute Demetrio Spiazzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Demetrio Spiazzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Eliazar. Miraflores FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Demetrio Spiazzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 86 minutes into the match, Miraflores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Chago came free, but Ernesto Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Prodan Sokol were awarded a corner. Erubiel Vargas went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Honorio Chago managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Miraflores FC's Ernesto Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Spiazzi in the 90th minute of play. Ernesto Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Birila in the 91st minute of the match. Demetrio Spiazzi took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Eliazar. Ernesto Eliazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Prodan Sokol's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
