An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Cordarrel in the 19th minute of play forced Racing1407's goalkeeper Domingos Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcelino Quinten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Godofredo Basualdo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing1407's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Basualdo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Erramun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingos Rito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Ostadar in the 27th minute. Club Atlético La Banda's Arturo Erramun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Froila in the 30th minute of play. Arturo Erramun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godofredo Basualdo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Tercero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing1407's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético La Banda the free kick. A collision led to Racing1407 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Ostadar in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Rito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Ostadar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute of the game, Primitivo Balendin landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Teo Cordarrel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 50 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético La Banda's Teo Cordarrel got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Domingos Rito came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético La Banda's Marcelino Quinten. But to his dismay, Marcelino Quinten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to Racing1407 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Eliseo Froila hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Racing1407's Edgard Cresconio got a free kick in the 59th minute. Saul Ostadar struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Domingos Rito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético La Banda. The audience was convinced that Godofredo Basualdo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Erramun was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Eliseo Froila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Marcelino Quinten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Erramun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basilio Azaceta's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Marcelino Quinten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético La Banda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Quinten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basilio Azaceta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Erramun having to interfere. Arturo Erramun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basilio Azaceta's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Basilio Azaceta sped through Club Atlético La Banda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arturo Erramun. Club Atlético La Banda's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
